Lipplefest

Lipplefest is an annual live performance and party usually falling on or near July 4th. It is held at the Lipple house in Altoona, PA. The Lipple homestead is situated against the woods, with a wooden deck that doubles as a stage. The number and mix of bands usually varies (as does the attendance), and this congregation of family and friends has exceeded 120 people and 13 bands.

The party takes place in and around the house, with a large tent, port-a-potty, fire pit, and drink station.

The food is almost as famous as the music. See the "menu" below for a typical spread.
