Jump to: navigation, search

This is the unofficially official incomplete list of shows that happened at Terrace F. Club in Princeton, NJ. The list is organized by year, with the names of the various student Social Chairs responsible for booking the shows for that year noted next to it (if known.)

As a side note, Terrace F. Club's home page is not this, it is this. Meanwhile, did you know that Terrace has a Wikipedia page?

Thanks to Justin Goldberg (social chair, 2001) for keeping the lists of shows from 1999-2001 safe and sound.

ffmup (Free Form Mash Up) is a free improvisation/modern composition series put on by the grad students in Princeton's Music Department. Its shows are all held at Terrace, though Terrace doesn't organize any of it.

1977: Geoff Post

(from some spotty club records)

  • ESG - Very cool drum & base band. I still have the albumn
  • Flipper - "Sex Bomb Baby - Yeah!" - I remember their truck being fully spray painted by Terrans, including the roof. They played their last set in drag

[edit] 1979 - Joe Libertelli

This was a rebuilding year. We had a new crop of members but not much money, so while we had a several bands, we mainly had to amuse ourselves. (The only band whose name I recall was Hot Biscuits, a bluegrass trio that played Sunday brunches. Very atypical music for us at the time.) Two of our low-cost social innovations were the Taunt and Epithet Contest - won by Chapel Organist James Woodman - and the Clone Party (everyone wore blue jeans, a white T-shirt and white tennis shoes and was supposed to have their faces all painted white. Of course, this being Terrace, the faces ended up being painted in a wide variety of colors and styles.) And then there was and Bong Pong (tobacco only OF COURSE!), a Terran permutation of blow pong in which the highly experienced Terrace team swept the Street. I understand all three continued on for some years thereafter.
